The Company: We’re proud to be partnering with the charity Foodbank Australia who are the country’s largest food relief organisation to find their new National Supply Chain Manager – Fresh/Chilled. They provide more than 70% of the food rescued for food relief organisations nation-wide. Last year, they sourced the equivalent of 92 million meals for their charity partners and school breakfast programs nationwide, providing food relief to more than a million people each month.

The Role: Reporting to the General Manager of National Supply Chain, the National Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Foodbank’s Australia’s fresh and chilled National Donors (NDs) and agricultural programs, looking after communication, logistics and procurement. You will also be required to attend a range of events/conferences/forums to network and seek potential new partners.

The Person: We are looking to speak with candidates with a background in Supply Chain/Logistics/Procurement who have experience in the Agri/Dairy industry. You will need to have strong stakeholder management experience, and the ability to foster relationships with new potential partners to identify new programs and sources of donations. You will be a strategic thinker and work with the wider cross-functional teams in order to generate new opportunities for the business.
