The Role:
 
As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our client. You will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Preparing financial statements and reports
  • Assisting with budget preparation and management
  • Conducting bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Providing support during audits
  • Assisting with tax preparation and lodgement
 
About You: 
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have a passion for numbers. You should possess:
  • A degree in Accounting or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A proactive approach to work and the ability to meet deadlines
