The Opportunity
As the Demand and Supply Planner at Twining’s, you’ll report to the Demand Lead and play a crucial role in managing customer forecasts, inventory control, and ensuring the availability of goods. You’ll handle the ordering of raw materials and locally manufactured products and work closely with suppliers and internal teams to align on forecasts and reporting.
Collaborating with the Planning and Customer Service teams, you’ll manage demand and supply for Ovaltine and Jarrah products and support operational purchasing and factory coordination. A key part of your role will be identifying supply risks and implementing solutions in partnership with various teams. This hybrid role offers flexibility and valuable FMCG experience, making it ideal for career advancement.
Skills and Experience Required
They seek a candidate with strong planning experience and a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain. While supply planning expertise is essential, demand planning skills can be developed on the job. You’ll need strong interpersonal skills to interact with factories, suppliers, and sales teams. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or BI is a plus)
- Knowledge of Blueshift or other demand planning software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or an analytical field preferred
- 3-5 years of FMCG experience
- APICS certification is a plus
