About the Role:

Our client, a well-established player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and oversee end to end supply chain responsiblites across planning, production, quality and delivery for the site. This role involves managing a team of purchasing, warehousing and dispatch, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that all functions meet the highest standards of safety, cost and quality. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning and implementing supply chain strategy 
  • Master scheduling, buyer analysis, order management, inventory management, production scheduling, dispatch and fulfilment.
  • Optimise supply, demand, production and inventory levels to meet business demand. 
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand forecasting, sales trends and market insights to support supply chain activities.
  • Develop work processes in SAP to execute MRP, MPS and production schedules. 
  • Develop KPI's to measure performance in planning, purchasing and inventory. 
  • Manage and lead the team with a mindset of continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced supply chain manager with 5+ years of experience.
  • Manufacturing, production or assembly industry experience in a similar role.
  • Exposure or qualified in LEAN or Continuous Improvement
  • A change manager, with the ability to lead the team through change management in an empowering manner to uplift team capabilities and direction. 
  • Extensive SAP experience
