They are rolling out a new Advanced Planning System (APS) across the organization to enhance efficiency and streamline the centralised planning processes.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful rollout of this APS throughout the business. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will engage directly with supply and materials planners to understand current practices (“as-is”) and define what the future state (“to-be”) will look like. While prior APS implementation experience isn’t required, a strong background in materials planning or supply within the FMCG sector, paired with solid systems knowledge, is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Materials Planning stream in APS implementation project, ensuring alignment with the business’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with supply and materials planning teams to document current processes and define future best practices.
- Act as the key liaison between stakeholders, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.
- Develop and deliver training and communication materials to support adoption across teams.
- Monitor project milestones and report progress to leadership.
- Strong experience in materials planning or supply within the FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in systems and a keen interest in working with planning and supply chain tools.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills to build rapport across teams.
- A solution-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- A 12-month FTC with a strong likelihood of extension or becoming permanent.
