Warehouse & Logistics Lead
The Company: I’m currently working with a growing SME business in the tech space who are looking to bring on a Warehouse & Logistics Lead to join their small team based in the Lower North Shore. This role will be a 5 days a week on site.
The Role: Working as the Warehouse & Logistics Lead, this person will be responsible for managing the inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse and inventory to ensure optimal stock levels are achieved, projects are delivered on time and customer service levels achieved. They will work closely with couriers to follow up on orders and ensure that they are receiving the best price. There is also scope for the successful candidate to contribute to the business in another manner depending on their existing skillset. This could be engineering, project management or production and will roughly make up around 1 day of work per week.
Success Profile: We are looking for a smart, switched on candidate with experience across both warehousing and logistics, who is comfortable conversing with a range of internal and external stakeholders. They will need to be hands-on, agile and thrive in a high growth environment, have a developed EQ, and be able to think quickly on their feet. There will be an element of manual labour/physical work, unloading pallets at the warehouse (lifting around 15-20kg), and they will need to have or be prepared to acquire their forklift licence.
