About the role
 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Demand and Supply planner is responsible for ensuring that inventory availability meets future customer demand.

Duties
  • The generation of a rolling demand plan over a short-term horizon in a seasonal, highly promotional environment. 
  • Ensuring inventory availability for a large and diverse customer base while keeping inventory holdings in line with broader company policy.
  • Maintaining inventory integrity across the network through cross functional communication and thorough analysis.
  • Optimising stock turns while minimising existing slow moving and obsolete lines.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including planning, logistics, sales and other cross business functions.
  • To provide an effective line of communication between major stakeholders internally
  • Data integrity of planning parameters.

Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated planning exposure in a FMCG manufacturing environment, both Demand and Supply is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with first class communication and stakeholder management capability.
  • Advanced Excel Skills
