Supply Chain Manager
Our client is an instantly recognised brand with their innovative, stylish and premium products found in the homes of their customers across the world. With continued success and an ambitious growth strategy they’ve created a new leadership role of Supply Chain Manager ANZ to join their team in Sydney.
The role will report to the CEO and will have full accountability for the logistics operations in Australia and New Zealand. The primary focus of the role will be to oversee the successful transition to a new 3PL ensuring minimal disruption to the business and customers. As the role evolves the Supply Chain Manager will lead continuous improvement projects, work with the 3PL Partner to optimise operations and deliver a cost effective, efficient and customer focused supply chain. The role will sit on the leadership team and play a critical role in shaping the supply chain and logistics operations for the business today and in the future.
Success profile we are looking for a Logistics Manager or Supply Chain Manager from a FMCG Consumer, Retail, 3PL or similar background with expertise in 3PL/4PL management. They will have a demonstrated track-record of being successful in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, SME business that is going through growth and transformation.
You will have a continuous improvement mindset, strong stakeholder, and leadership capabilities, and a can-do, will-do attitude. In addition you will have strong commercial, operational and strategic nous, a proven track record of delivering performance in supply chain and logistics operations and be able to strike the balance of being hands-on and operational, annd taking a step back to do the big picture thinking to develop and implement strategies and deliver an effective, efficient, and scalable supply chain for the business.
