Warehouse Administrator - Immediate Start Available

THE COMPANY:
Join a thriving family-owned foodservice business with a proud history of providing quality products to local restaurants, airlines, cruise ships and hotel venues. This well-established operation features a 5,000 square foot ambient warehouse with full pallet racking and its own customs hold in modern environment.

THE ROLE:
This is a permanent, full time role reporting to the Warehouse Manager, and as part of a small team of 4.

Day-to-day this role will include:
  • Liaising with final mile carriers and coordinating outbound bookings.
  • Booking quarantine inspections for incoming goods.
  • Working closely with the import coordinator on arrival of inbound freight.
  • Cross-referencing delivery orders and checking dockets with attention to detail.
  • Managing CHEP pallet control, including reconciliation and reporting.
  • Operating from a central office space adjacent to the warehouse floor.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have a practical mindset, strong attention to detail and appreciate a steady-paced work environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar warehouse administration role, preferably with import/export or food-based knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with carriers and internal team members.
  • Proficiency working with portal systems and basic documentation processes.
  • Commitment to accuracy and reliability in a small team setting.
