As the Procurement Analyst, you’ll step into a newly created role designed to elevate procurement through sharper insights, smarter reporting, and data-led decision making. Reporting to a highly regarded senior leader, you’ll work across direct and indirect spend categories to provide critical analysis and visibility that supports sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and commercial outcomes.

  • Build and maintain dashboards and procurement reports using Excel and Power BI (preferred), Tableau, and BasePlan.
  • Analyse spend, supplier performance, pricing trends, and contract data to uncover actionable insights.
  • Support strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations with clear data-led recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across procurement, operations, and finance to improve cost control and decision-making.
  • Help standardise procurement data and reporting frameworks for improved efficiency and transparency.
  • Identify risks and opportunities through market scans, historical analysis, and supplier data.
 
You will bring a strong background in procurement, supply chain, or finance, with a clear focus on data and analytics. Your advanced Excel skills are a must-have, and any experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or BasePlan will be highly valued. Commercially astute with an analytical mindset, you're proactive in solving problems and thrive in environments where you can take ownership. You’re also a confident communicator who can influence and collaborate effectively across teams. Tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field (or equivalent experience) are expected, along with familiarity with procurement or ERP systems.
