Head of Supply Chain

We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a rapidly growing, transformational business for a newly created, hands-on, strategic Head of Supply Chain. This is a rare opportunity to lead the end-to-end supply chain, delivering strategic projects, network optimisation, and operational excellence as the business targets significant revenue and EBITDA growth over the next three years.

The Role:
  • Develop, implement, and execute an end-to-end supply chain strategy aligned with business growth and operational efficiency
  • Lead inventory optimisation; procurement improvements; and cost reduction initiatives, including supplier consolidation and diversification
  • Optimise supply chain networks – balancing international supplier relationships (China and SE Asia) with Australian DC and warehouse operations
  • Deliver key supply chain projects, including ERP/WMS improvements, process automation, and data quality enhancements
  • Support the rollout of S&OP at a branch level from a supply chain perspective, providing guidance on feasibility, inventory planning, and operational execution
  • Lead and develop a lean, high-performing team, building capability and scalability across procurement, inventory, S&OP support, and international supplier management
About You:
  • ~20 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory management, and network optimisation
  • Experience managing international sourcing and supplier relationships, particularly with China and SE Asia
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and deliver strategic supply chain projects across multi-branch retail, wholesale, or e-commerce environments
  • Strong commercial acumen, pragmatic, hands-on, and outcomes-focused, with the ability to deliver measurable cost savings and process improvements
  • Skilled at leading change in transformational, fast-growing businesses, embedding innovation, accountability, and trust
