About the role
This is a true Business Development Manager position with full ownership of the South East Queensland territory. The focus is on building a sustainable revenue book through new account acquisition, account reactivation and deeper penetration of existing customers.
You will inherit a sizeable CRM database with active and dormant accounts, providing immediate opportunity alongside greenfield development. Success will come from structured territory planning, disciplined follow up and consistent face to face engagement with trade based customers.
There is scope to shape channel direction over time, including further development of reseller and independent hardware pathways where commercially viable.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a structured growth strategy across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba
- Identify, target and win new trade and contractor customers
- Reactivate dormant accounts and convert lapsed opportunities
- Increase revenue share within existing accounts
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and CRM activity
- Work cross functionally with operations to ensure service standards are upheld
Skills and experience
- Demonstrated success in B2B field sales within building products, construction or related industrial sectors
- Strong relationship builder comfortable engaging with trade customers onsite
- Self driven and capable of operating autonomously
- Commercially aware with sound negotiation capability
- Structured in approach with solid pipeline management discipline
