We’re assisting an AZX-listed organisation in their hunt for a hands-on Cloud Engineer who lives and breathes Azure integration and security. This role sits within a well-established Shared Services IT function and will play a key part in designing, securing and operating cloud integrations across the business.

What you’ll be doing
  • Designing and managing Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus and API Management
  • Building secure integrations across Azure, Microsoft 365, SaaS platforms and on-prem systems
  • Embedding security-by-design using Entra ID, managed identities and Zero Trust principles
  • Working with Defender for Cloud and Sentinel to strengthen monitoring and response
  • Supporting resilience across the platform, including monitoring, backup and disaster recovery
What you’ll bring
  • 4+ years working across Azure environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services and API platforms
  • Solid scripting and automation skills, PowerShell ideally
  • Experience with Microsoft security tooling, including Defender and Sentinel
  • Good grasp of identity, access management and secure cloud networking
You’ll be working closely with architects, enterprise apps and senior IT leadership, so you need to be technically strong but also comfortable collaborating across teams.
