Quality Systems Manager

About the Role:
You will be a key player in the quality team and have total responsibility for the maintenance and validity of the organisations business quality processes, the internal audit program and lead the customer audits. You will support projects and sign off on process releases and audit reports. Key metrics will be NCR closures and audit to time. Full working rights required, you must have either PR or be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities include:
• Driving continuous improvement across all business processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and organisational performance.
• Managing and maintaining the Internal Audit Program, ensuring audits are planned, executed, and reported in alignment with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating 2nd and 3rd party audits, facilitating audit readiness, supporting engagement with external auditors, and enabling successful audit outcomes.
• Developing and implementing Quality Assurance processes to ensure the conformance of incoming and outgoing materials, supporting high standards of product and service quality.
• Providing quality expertise and support to projects, contributing to risk management, compliance, and delivery success as required
• Support business process owners in developing, maintaining, and improving management system processes to ensure compliance with required certifications and standards (e.g., ISO 22163/IRIS, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Manage the effective operation of the Business Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system to address and resolve quality issues.
• Prepare and issue regular Quality KPI reports to support transparency and continuous improvement.
About You:
• Experience within the engineering or industrial manufacturing industry, with a proven record of achieving delivery, quality, and cost targets.
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical literature and documentation.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to assess data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Capability in managing and improving business processes and quality systems.
• Proven ability to lead and guide others to achieve operational and quality outcomes.
• Effective collaboration and teamwork across multi disciplinary groups.
• Ability to influence, engage, and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple issues and priorities concurrently in a dynamic environment.
• Strong report writing skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
