Our client is seeking a commercially minded Demand Planner to drive forecast accuracy and support supply chain performance across the business.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts to support business objectives, optimise inventory levels, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. You will analyse historical data, market trends, and sales insights to ensure strong product availability while minimising excess stock and working capital exposure.
The position works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align demand planning activities with broader business strategy.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, statistical models, and market intelligence.
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts in line with real-time sales performance, promotional activity, and changing market conditions.
  • Partner with Supply Planning to ensure demand forecasts align with production and inventory plans.
  • Lead and facilitate regular demand review meetings with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
  • Track and report key KPIs including forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory health.
  • Provide insights and reporting to support regional and broader business decision-making.
  • Support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a similar analytical supply chain role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with experience managing large datasets.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using demand planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle, JDA or similar).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • APICS, CPIM, or other relevant certifications highly regarded.
