Assistant Brand Manager
About the Company
You'll be joining a global FMCG business known for producing high-quality confectionery products that are sold in more than 100 countries. With a strong heritage and reputation, the company has built a portfolio of iconic brands that hold leading positions across categories. The Australian business operates with a strong commercial focus and a disciplined, insight-led marketing approach, offering an excellent training ground for marketers who want exposure to all aspects of brand management within a highly respected global organisation.
About the Role
The Assistant Brand Manager will support one of the business’s largest and most established brand portfolios. The role offers broad exposure across new product development, budget and invoice management, packaging coordination, and monthly performance reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, category, account teams and global stakeholders, supporting the delivery of new launches and helping the wider brand team execute key marketing initiatives. It is a hands-on role in a highly commercial environment, ideal for someone who wants to build strong foundations in FMCG and learn how brand decisions connect to financial and commercial outcomes.
About You
You will have around one to two years of experience in a similar marketing, category or commercial role, with a strong analytical mindset and a genuine interest in FMCG. You might be coming from an Assistant Brand Manager role in a smaller business, a retailer or buyer-side background, or a commercially focused category environment. You are comfortable getting into the detail, whether that is building P&Ls, managing budgets, setting up products in systems or pulling together reports, and you are the kind of person who is keen, curious and happy to roll up your sleeves. Most importantly, you are looking for a role where you can learn quickly, contribute meaningfully and build towards a longer-term career in brand management.
