Planning & Order Officer

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Planning & Order Officer to join a leading industrial organisation at their Granville facility. This role sits at the heart of the supply chain, managing customer orders, forecasting, and production planning, while driving continuous improvement across order operations.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams across logistics, production, and IBP, ensuring orders are executed accurately, forecasts are aligned with demand, and operational processes are optimised.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain order management policies and operational procedures for assigned business units and projects.
  • Oversee order status and ensure timely execution, monitoring key schedules in the value chain.
  • Collaborate with logistics and production teams to forecast demand and manage delivery schedules.
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts according to sales inputs and SAP IBP data.
  • Initiate process improvements and implement tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in order operations.
  • Work with IT and operational functions to develop reporting, dashboards, and other technical infrastructure.
  • Act as a point of escalation for critical order or delivery issues.
 
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in order management, planning, or similar supply chain roles.
  • Strong experience with SAP ERP (R/3); knowledge of SD, WM, or PP modules preferred.
  • Exposure to SAP IBP, S&OP, or inventory planning processes desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive improvements under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
