We are partnering with a global FMCG business to appoint a Logistics Planner, based in their South Yarra office. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth coordination of delivery activity, managing the behind-the-scenes processes that keep customer orders flowing.This is a perfect someone who enjoys working across systems, transport, and stakeholder coordination, with a strong focus on execution and accuracy.

The Role

As the Logistics Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating delivery activities and supporting transport execution, ensuring orders are processed, scheduled, and delivered efficiently. You will work closely with 3PL partners and internal teams to manage delivery creation, transport bookings, and system accuracy, while maintaining visibility across the distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with 3PL providers to coordinate daily delivery activity
  • Create and manage deliveries within ERP systems (SAP)
  • Support transport planning and booking activities where required
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of order processing and dispatch flows
  • Maintain visibility of deliveries and proactively manage issues or delays
  • Apply knowledge of transport routing and distribution networks to support efficient planning
  • Work cross-functionally with customer service, warehouse, and planning teams
  • Maintain strong data integrity and reporting across logistics activities 
About You

  • Experience in logistics coordination, transport planning, or supply chain operations
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP (logistics / delivery modules preferred)
  • Understanding of transport routing and distribution processes
  • Experience working with 3PL providers and external logistics partners
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Systems-savvy with the ability to manage and process high volumes of data
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
