We’re partnering with a well-known Australian organisation that’s seeking a Marketing Data Coordinator & Squad Lead on a 12-month contract. This role sits at the centre of Marketing, Analytics and IT, leading a cross-functional squad responsible for marketing data initiatives, analytics delivery, and keeping key programs moving during a broader transformation period.

This is a practical leadership role for someone who can bring structure, set priorities, manage demand, and ensure the right work gets done by the right people.

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Lead a cross-functional squad across Marketing, Data and IT resources
  • Own prioritisation across analytics, reporting, customer data and marketing initiatives
  • Act as the key link between marketing requests and technical delivery teams
  • Manage incoming requests across analysis, dashboards, automation and AI proof of concepts
  • Provide thought leadership on how data can improve customer engagement, campaign outcomes and decision-making
  • Support business continuity for marketing programs while internal resources shift toward transformation activity
  • Help shape use cases and support migration activity into Databricks / enterprise data platforms
  • Identify automation opportunities and smarter ways of working across the function
  • Review squad capability, resource gaps and future skill requirements
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience leading cross-functional squads, pods or delivery teams
  • Strong background in data analytics, BI, customer insights or marketing data environments
  • Proven ability to prioritise competing requests and keep delivery moving
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn business needs into practical use cases
  • Comfortable operating in changing environments with multiple moving parts
  • Exposure to Databricks, Power BI, Azure, Power Platform or modern data environments is beneficial
