Our Client is a multi-site healthcare business operating across Australia and New Zealand with a strong and growing network. As part of their strategic investment, they have created the role of General Manager – Digital Marketing to join them to elevate digital performance and build capability in-house.
The Role reports to the CEO, and has full accountability for digital marketing performance across the business. You will lead the strategy and execution across all digital channels, with a clear focus on driving acquisition, improving conversion, and delivering measurable ROI. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining strategic direction with execution.
A key priority will be building a best-in-class in-house digital capability, reducing reliance on agencies while lifting overall performance across paid, owned, and earned channels. Key responsibilities include:

- Own end-to-end digital performance across Paid Search, SEO, Social, and website/CRO
- Drive customer acquisition, conversion, and ROI through data-led optimisation
- Build and lead an in-house digital team, transitioning away from agency reliance
- Oversee website performance, UX, and conversion to improve customer journeys
- Partner with marketing and operational teams to align digital activity with business priorities
- Proven experience operating at GM, Head of, or equivalent level in digital marketing within a multi-site or branch network model
- Strong paid media and search expertise, managing large budgets and complex campaigns
- Track record of improving conversion, cost efficiency, and ROI across digital channels
- Experience building or scaling in-house digital capability and teams
- Hands-on, pragmatic leader who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels
- High-impact leadership role reporting directly to the CEO
