The Business
Our client is a well-established Australian business operating within the healthcare and consumer products space. Having built an outstanding reputation over a number of decades, the business is currently experiencing significant growth and investment across its operations, supply chain and customer experience functions. With a collaborative, people-first culture and a genuinely supportive leadership team, this is an environment where employees are encouraged to contribute ideas, improve processes and make a visible impact on the business.
The Role
Reporting into the Operations function, the Procurement Manager will take ownership of an established purchasing team and play a key role in supporting the next phase of operational growth. This is a hands-on role focused on supplier management, procurement planning, inventory oversight, process improvement and cross-functional collaboration across warehouse, customer service and eCommerce teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving efficiencies, improving reporting and helping create greater structure within a fast-moving operational environment, while remaining involved in the day-to-day function.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking to speak with candidates who bring a strong blend of operational procurement capability, analytical thinking and people leadership. You will be someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates before implementing change and will be comfortable working within a growing SME environment where adaptability and collaboration are key. Strong stakeholder engagement, attention to detail and systems/process improvement capability will be critical for success in the role. Experience within healthcare, medical devices, FMCG or similarly fast-paced operational environments will be highly regarded.
