This is an opportunity to join a successful and growing business where you will take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain, leading a small team while remaining closely involved in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, customer service and warehousing operations.
 
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a critical role in ensuring product availability, inventory optimisation and customer satisfaction across the business.
 
The Opportunity

This is a genuine end-to-end supply chain role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for balancing demand forecasts, inventory levels and customer expectations while working collaboratively with outsourced production partners to align supply with demand and drive continuous improvement across the operation.
Leading a team of two, covering Warehouse and Customer Service, you will be equally comfortable analysing inventory in Excel, coordinating with manufacturing partners, managing suppliers and solving operational challenges as you are coaching your team and improving processes.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the demand planning and forecasting process
  • Collaborate with outsourced production partners to align supply with forecast demand
  • Manage inventory levels, stock turns and working capital
  • Lead monthly S&OP activities and inventory reviews
  • Raise and coordinate manufacturing and procurement orders
  • Oversee warehousing, logistics and customer service functions
  • Manage DIFOT performance and customer fulfilment outcomes
  • Work closely with suppliers, freight providers and manufacturing partners
  • Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes
  • Analyse data and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Maintain accurate planning information using Excel and MYOB
 About You

You are likely an experienced Planning Manager, Supply Chain Manager or Operations Manager from a manufacturing, industrial, distribution or FMCG environment.
Most importantly, you enjoy being hands-on in a smaller business where you can directly influence outcomes, while also working collaboratively with external production partners.
 
You will bring:
  • Strong demand planning and forecasting experience
  • Solid understanding of production planning principles and inventory management
  • Experience leading a small team while remaining operationally involved
  • Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel skills
  • Confidence working with straightforward systems and processes
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
 The successful candidate will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves, working within a lean structure and making decisions using data, experience and practical judgement, while partnering effectively with outsourced production providers.
