Demand Planner - 6-month FTC
The Business
Our client is a growing FMCG distribution and brand management business representing a portfolio of well-known consumer brands across the Australian market. Operating across major grocery, retail and convenience channels, the business has built strong retailer relationships and continues to experience growth within several product categories, including a high-profile portfolio currently expanding across key national accounts.
The Role
This hands-on Demand Planner role will take ownership of forecasting, inventory planning and supply coordination across a fast-moving FMCG portfolio. Working closely with Sales, Logistics and Supply Chain teams, you will manage demand forecasts, monitor stock levels, support promotional activity and proactively manage supply risks to ensure strong product availability across major retail customers including Woolworths and Big W. The role will also involve reporting on forecast accuracy, inventory health and sales performance while coordinating closely with 3PL and operational stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will bring previous experience within Demand Planning, Supply Planning or Inventory Management roles within FMCG, retail or consumer goods environments. You will have strong analytical capability, advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP or forecasting systems, along with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced commercial environment. Experience supporting grocery or large retail channels, managing fast-moving SKUs and balancing multiple priorities will be highly regarded.
