THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a newly created, full-time permanent role that marks an exciting evolution in our client's finance function. As Finance Manager, you will be the dedicated in-house finance lead taking full ownership of financial operations, managing multiple P&Ls, and partnering closely with the General Manager to support ongoing growth. This role suits a hands-on professional who brings both technical rigour and strong interpersonal skills, and who thrives in a small team environment where relationships matter.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the Australian P&L and review the international entity P&L, liaising with an external accounting firm
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, manage payroll working closely with an existing bookkeeper
  • Ownership of cash flow forecasting, working capital and treasury management 
  • Maintain financial forecasting and support a planned ERP implementation 
  • Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting and commercial insight to the General Manager
  • Drive financial process improvement across a lean, growing business
ABOUT YOU
  • Proven finance management experience within an SME manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or similar
  • Comfortable managing multiple P&Ls and working across international entities
  • Proven experience across commercial management including pricing, inventory management, margins, purchasing, and forward order planning
  • Experience leading a small team 
  • Experience with MYOB is essential; familiarity with ERP systems implementation advantage
  • A committed, reliable professional seeking a full-time in the office, finance and operations embedded role 
  • Hands-on and adaptable, comfortable wearing multiple 
  • CPA / CA qualified
