As Business Development Manager, you'll be the key relationship owner across the business's channel partner network. That means brokers, referral partners, agents, and other intermediaries who play a role in driving buyer enquiry and project sales. You'll manage existing relationships while actively building new ones, and you'll run a proper sales process from first contact through to close.
- Grow the channel network: Identify, engage and onboard new channel partners while nurturing and developing existing relationships to drive increased referral activity and sales outcomes.
- Manage key stakeholder accounts: Act as the primary point of contact for agents, brokers and referral partners, taking ownership of the full relationship lifecycle.
- Run a structured sales process: Manage your pipeline with discipline across every stage, from prospecting and needs analysis through to proposal, negotiation and close.
- Stay across the market: Keep up with competitor activity, project launches, and shifts in buyer behaviour to ensure the business is well-positioned in the market.
- Work closely with internal teams: Collaborate with sales, marketing and project teams to make sure partners are well-supported and the customer experience is seamless end to end.
- Track and report on performance: Monitor channel activity, partner engagement and revenue contributions against agreed targets, and share regular updates with leadership.
You're someone who enjoys building relationships and knows how to make them commercially productive. You're comfortable running your own process, managing a diverse partner base, and working in an environment where things move quickly and the growth potential is real.
- Channel or B2B sales background: Experience managing relationships with real estate agents, brokers, or referral partners in property, development, or a related field.
- Strong relationship builder: You establish trust quickly and know how to keep partners engaged over the long term.
- Full sales cycle capability: Confident owning the process from initial outreach through to close, with minimal supervision.
- Commercial mindset: You understand what motivates partners and how to position value in a way that drives action.
- Clear and confident communicator: Comfortable presenting to stakeholders at all levels, in person and in writing.
- Well-organised and self-directed: You keep your pipeline tidy, follow up consistently, and manage your time without needing to be prompted.
