About our Client
Our client is an iconic organisation with instantly recognisable brands and a long history here in the Australian market. They are currently undergoing a significant supply chain transformation and in the strive towards a best-in-class planning function, are now seeking to identify an experienced demand planning professional for this newly created position in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager of Planning in this stand-alone position, the Demand Planner is responsible for the establishment and development of a robust forecasting and demand planning process for a range of products sold through the major grocery retailers + additional sales channels (incluing export). You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply and Finance functions to promote a collaborative planning process that will continue to drive improvements in the areas of forecast accuracy and reduced SLOB stock across the national network.

The Demand Planner will play a critical role in overall demand & supply balancing for the organisation, inform supply and production functions of expected resourcing requirements and lead the demand review in the newly established IBP process. You will support product development teams with new product introduction and drive improvements in DIFOT and inventory availability. 

The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will be a demand planning professional with experience in a mature IBP environment, ideally from the consumer goods space and supplying the major grocery retailers. You will be hands on, resilient and have proven skills working across all functions of an organisation to deliver exceptional results. Your customer focus and process improvement mindset will be the key to your success in this role.
