About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join a collaborative and high-performing team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role sits at the intersection of supply planning, procurement and inventory management, working closely with Commercial and Operations teams to ensure the efficient supply of fertiliser and packaging products across the network.
This is a broad, cross-functional role that combines forecasting, budgeting, position management and supplier engagement, while also providing exposure to global product teams and key domestic stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Supply Planning & Procurement
  • Lead supply planning activities across fertiliser and packaging products.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers and obtain quotations for trace elements and other products.
  • Work closely with site operations teams to optimise stock availability and product flow.
  • Identify and communicate supply or storage constraints to support timely decision making.
  • Manage supplier relationships and coordinate regular vendor meetings.
  • Support the preparation of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) documentation.
Demand Planning & Forecasting
  • Maintain and administer SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Coordinate the monthly forecasting process and communicate forecast accuracy measures to the business.
  • Develop and manage sales and purchase budget templates.
  • Support ongoing planning processes to ensure alignment between supply and demand.
Inventory & Position Management
  • Maintain supply plans and inventory positions within the Position Management Tool.
  • Manage planned site-to-site transfers to support product availability.
  • Update inventory positions in line with the latest demand forecasts.
Commercial & Stakeholder Management
  • Identify and negotiate domestic swap opportunities to improve service levels and reduce supply chain costs.
  • Maintain relationships with swap partners and provide information to support administration and reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain teams to support business objectives.
  • Provide leave coverage and broader support across the Supply Chain team as required.
Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics or a related discipline.
  • Approximately five years' experience in supply planning, procurement or a similar role, ideally within commodities, agriculture, manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP and Business Objects.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
  • Exposure to compliance processes, customs or government reporting requirements will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
