Head of Growth (Digital & eComm)

Location: sydney
Salary: Competitive Package including STI & LTI
Job Type: permanent
Contact: Chris Barr
Our client is one of Australia's fastest-growing D2C lifestyle brands - born from a genuine community, built by founders who backed themselves, and scaled a brand across ANZ and North America. They didn't follow the playbook. They wrote their own.

The brand has a fiercely loyal following that is deeply rooted in the active and outdoor lifestyle, and a product-market fit that is undeniable. Their community doesn't just buy the product, they live it. High-profile partnerships with some of the world's most recognised sporting organisations have accelerated their push into North America.

As part of their growth journey they're building their leadership team to go on the next phase of their brand story and we're excited to bring this Head of Growth role to market.

This is a newly created role reporting to the Co-CEOs. The Head of Growth, Digital & eComm will own the commercial growth engine of the business end-to-end: customer acquisition, retention and lifecycle, eComm performance, digital product, influencer and affiliate programs, measurement and analytics. This is a fully remote role with domestic and international travel as required.

You'll work closely with the Co-CEOs and COO to set growth strategy and drive execution across ANZ and North America. This isn't a traditional marketing role. It's a commercial growth leadership role with direct influence on business strategy and the decisions that shape where this brand goes next.
Key accountabilities include:
  • Defining and executing the end-to-end growth strategy across acquisition, retention, LTV and eComm performance
  • Driving paid media and customer acquisition across ANZ and North America through channel mix, CAC efficiency and in-house performance marketing
  • Building and evolving the influencer, affiliate and ambassador program as a key driver of brand awareness and customer growth
  • Developing measurement frameworks and commercial dashboards to drive fast, data-led decisions
  • Leading the growth function and contributing as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team
We're looking for a senior growth and eComm leader - think Head of Growth, Head of eComm, Director of Growth, Head of Digital or Head of Performance Marketing - who has a track record of scaling a DTC or consumer brand and knows what it takes to build the engine, not just run it. You've been part of a founder-led, high-growth or PE-backed consumer brand and you understand what it means to own growth holistically - balancing brand, customer and commercial outcomes rather than operating through a single functional lens. Specifically, we're looking for:
  • Demonstrated track record scaling a DTC or consumer eComm brand through a significant growth phase - ideally from the tens of millions into nine figures
  • End-to-end growth ownership across performance marketing, eComm, retention, lifecycle and measurement - not just one or two of these
  • In-house paid media capability - you've managed performance marketing directly, not solely through agencies
  • Strong commercial acumen - you think in CAC, LTV, payback periods and growth P&L
  • Builder mindset - you've created growth systems from scratch, thrived in lean founder-led environments and make decisions without excessive layers of approval
  • Highly regarded is experience scaling into the North American market and progressive use of AI and automation as growth enablers.
What's on Offer
  • Build the growth engine for one of Australia's most exciting D2C brands
  • Work closely with passionate founders to shape the future of the brand
  • Competitive base, STI and LTI to reward contribution and growth
