Job Purpose
We are seeking a driven and strategic Major Projects Manager to spearhead national sales and business development efforts in our Remote Workforce Division. This critical role is responsible for identifying and securing new opportunities in camp accommodation and workforce housing across industries such as mining, oil & gas, government, and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modular accommodation, workforce housing, or a related industry, with proven experience in lead generation, tendering, and client relationship management. Working independently on identifying new business opportunities, supported by the operations team to deliver innovative solutions to clients.
 
Duties and responsibilities
  • Drive lead generation and business development efforts to secure new opportunities for workforce housing solutions across Australia.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and hire targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and close sales and hire leads in mining, oil & gas, infrastructure, and government sectors.
  • Lead the RFQ (Request for Quotation) and tender process, including bid preparation, submission, and negotiations.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in remote workforce accommodation.
  • Work independently on business development efforts while collaborating with operations and project teams for seamless service delivery.
 
Experience
  • Strong knowledge of remote workforce projects, mining, oil & gas, and government tenders.
  • Proven success in lead generation, sales conversion, and relationship management.
  • Experience in RFQ, tender submissions, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess opportunities and drive profitable growth.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • High level of independence and self-motivation, with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with internal teams.
