Procurement Specialist
About Our Client
Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer operating in a highly regulated, quality-driven consumer health space. With a growing innovation pipeline and ambitious growth targets, they've made procurement a named strategic priority — and this role sits right at the centre of that shift.
This is a business that sources globally in a commodity market and one where quality and regulatory standards go well beyond typical industry benchmarks. It's procurement with genuine complexity, genuine stakes, and genuine room to make your mark.
The Opportunity
Our client is transforming its procurement function by moving it from a technical, transactional operation towards a strategic, category-led one. As part of that shift, they're building out category ownership so that sourcing decisions are made with discipline, governance and commercial rigour, not just kept running.
You'll take full ownership of an assigned category portfolio in direct spend, with a clear mandate: run it independently and run it well.
If you want a role where you're handed real scope from day one and not a narrow, closely supervised buying seat, this is it.
What You'll Own
Six Degrees Executive acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live. We are also committed to equal opportunity and strive to promote diversity, inclusion, belonging, flexibility, and accessibility in all that we do.
Should you require assistance in your interactions with us or through a recruitment process, please let us know so we can provide adjustments for you.
