IT Operations Manager

We're partnering with a global manufacturing organisation based in Granville to appoint an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead technology operations across the Australian business.

This is a broad, hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the stability, security and performance of the IT environment while leading a small team and delivering ongoing technology improvements. You'll balance day-to-day operational support with strategic planning, project delivery and stakeholder engagement across the business.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the IT team, providing mentoring, performance management and ongoing capability development.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the IT environment, ensuring high system availability, security and performance.
  • Manage ERP and business-critical applications, including ongoing support and optimisation.
  • Own IT budgets (CapEx and OpEx), vendor relationships and telecommunications contracts.
  • Drive infrastructure, network and security initiatives, ensuring systems remain secure and fit for purpose.
  • Plan and deliver technology projects, including upgrades, system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures and documentation.
  • Partner with regional IT teams to ensure alignment with global standards and reporting requirements.
You'll bring:
  • 5+ years' experience in IT operations or infrastructure leadership.
  • Strong experience across ERP systems, enterprise applications and IT operations.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity and server environments.
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to balance operational priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing technology budgets and vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Relevant qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline.

Salary: $125,000 + superannuation
