We’re working with an ASX-listed services company who's looking for an AI Business Partner to help identify, shape and deliver practical AI opportunities across the organisation. This is a commercially focused role for someone who can bridge the gap between emerging AI capabilities and real business outcomes.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and teams across the business to understand their challenges, identify where AI can make a genuine difference, and turn those opportunities into practical solutions.

What you’ll do
  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where AI can improve productivity, customer experience, decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Translate business problems into practical AI use cases and develop business cases that demonstrate the potential value.
  • Work with technology, data and business teams to prioritise and deliver AI initiatives.
  • Support the adoption of tools such as generative AI, Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled automation.
  • Help establish practical frameworks, guardrails and governance to ensure AI is adopted safely and responsibly.
  • Track the impact of AI initiatives and communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders.
  • Stay across emerging AI capabilities and assess where new technologies could provide genuine business value.
  • Build AI literacy across the organisation through workshops, guidance and stakeholder engagement.
What we’re looking forYou’ll be a commercially minded technology, data, digital or transformation professional who understands both business needs and the potential of AI.

You’ll bring:
  • Experience delivering AI, automation, data or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • The ability to translate complex technology into simple commercial recommendations.
  • Experience developing business cases, roadmaps or transformation programs.
  • A practical understanding of generative AI and its application in the workplace.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and storytelling skills.
  • A curious mindset and genuine interest in emerging AI technologies.
  • The ability to challenge assumptions and identify where AI will, and won’t, add value.
Please note, this role will be based out of their South Melbourne offices four days per week. Applicants must be located in Melbourne and have full Australian working rights.
