We’re working with an ASX-listed services company who's looking for an AI Business Partner to help identify, shape and deliver practical AI opportunities across the organisation. You will be exceptional with stakeholders, commercially focused and someone who can bridge the gap between emerging AI capabilities and real business outcomes.

This is a hands-on, business-facing role. You’ll spend most of your time embedded with business leaders and teams, understanding how they work, identifying inefficiencies and building simple AI solutions that save time, reduce costs and improve productivity.

What you’ll do
  • Work directly with business leaders and users to identify high-value AI opportunities.
  • Build and deploy practical AI solutions, including agents, assistants and automated workflows.
  • Use tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI and Claude.
  • Prioritise opportunities based on business value and deliver quick, practical wins.
  • Measure the impact of solutions in terms of time saved, cost avoided or revenue enabled.
  • Build an AI champions network and run practical training, coaching and demonstrations.
  • Work within existing security, architecture and governance frameworks to ensure solutions can be supported and scaled.
What you’ll bring
  • Experience in AI, automation, digital transformation, data, technology, product or continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on experience building and implementing AI or automation solutions. You need to be able to build, not just advise.
  • Strong commercial and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with executives and frontline teams.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, competing priorities and a high degree of autonomy.
  • Practical understanding of AI governance, data security and responsible AI adoption.
  • Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure or another asset-heavy, project-based environment would be highly regarded.
You’ll be commercially sharp, personable and curious. Someone who enjoys getting into the business, understanding how people actually work and finding a better way to do things.
You’ll be comfortable walking into an unfamiliar environment, identifying a problem and building a practical solution without overcomplicating it.
