We’re partnering with a well-known Victorian property business to appoint a Data & Insights Lead. This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of data strategy, sales, marketing and digital transformation. The role suits someone who enjoys building meaningful reports, influencing commercial decisions and helping shape how data is used across the business. You’ll work closely with the Head of Digital, Sales & Marketing teams and ELT to deliver insights that drive better decision-making.

A newly created opportunity for a commercially minded Data & Insights Lead to shape how data and analytics are used across a growing organisation.

You’ll sit within the Marketing function and work closely with Sales, Digital, Customer Experience and the ELT, turning complex data into clear insights and recommendations that influence commercial decisions.

What you’ll do
  • Help shape and deliver the organisation’s data strategy and 3-year roadmap.
  • Bring together data across Salesforce, Google, web analytics and other business systems.
  • Lead reporting, analysis and insight generation across Sales and Marketing.
  • Build dashboards, visualisations and self-service reporting that make data easier to access and use.
  • Identify trends, opportunities and risks, turning analysis into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Establish strong data governance, privacy and reporting standards across the business.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve data literacy and embed more data-led decision making.
  • Keep across emerging analytics and AI capabilities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

What you’ll bring
  • Strong background in data analytics, BI, insights or data strategy.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets and developing repeatable reporting solutions.
  • Strong Salesforce experience, including an understanding of its data structures and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with SQL and BI/visualisation tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau or similar.
  • Strong data visualisation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to translate complex data into simple, compelling insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, curious mindset with a genuine interest in continuous improvement and emerging AI capabilities.
  • Python or R experience would be advantageous.

This is a role for someone who wants to go beyond reporting, understand what the data is telling the business and use it to influence better decisions.
