About the company

Join the Australian arm of a well-established global manufacturer specialising in high-quality scientific laboratory and process instrumentation. With a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand, the business provides technical, high-value solutions to customers across mining, environmental, pharmaceutical, chemical, food and beverage, manufacturing and research sectors. With an established direct sales and service model and the backing of a global European headquarters, the business is looking to strengthen its local marketing capability and take a more proactive approach to lead generation and customer engagement.

About the role

This is a broad, hands-on Marketing Manager role with a clear commercial focus. Working closely with Product Managers and the sales team, you will drive the ANZ marketing calendar and turn technical product expertise into targeted activity that generates qualified leads and supports the sales pipeline.

Your remit will include:
  • Deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
  • Partner with Product Managers on product launches, content and go-to-market activity.
  • Drive qualified lead generation across multiple products and industry segments.
  • Manage CRM, email marketing, newsletters, LinkedIn, SEO and e-commerce activity.
  • Partner with an external digital agency to optimise campaigns and digital performance.
  • Lead an extensive events calendar of trade shows, conferences, webinars, seminars and customer events.
  • Leverage global content and campaigns, adapting them for the ANZ market.
  • Manage an annual marketing budget and provide reporting on leads, campaign performance and ROI.
  • Act as the link between product and sales, keeping marketing activity moving and aligned to commercial priorities.

About you

You are a proactive and energetic B2B marketer who enjoys taking ownership and getting things done. You will ideally have 4 to 5+ years' marketing experience within scientific instrumentation, laboratory equipment or another technical B2B environment, with experience marketing complex, higher-value products and longer sales cycles highly regarded.

You will bring a broad skill set across lead generation, digital marketing, CRM, content, events and sales enablement. Just as importantly, you will be confident working with technical stakeholders, challenging ideas when needed and driving projects forward without requiring significant direction.
Why applyThis is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of marketing within an established international business, while having the freedom to influence how marketing is delivered locally.

You'll work across a diverse range of industries, products and marketing channels, with access to global resources while maintaining a strong local focus. With an established sales team, specialist Product Managers, agency support and a meaningful marketing budget, you'll have the tools to make an impact and demonstrate the commercial value of marketing.
