HR/ER Advisor / AO6/AO7 | Queensland Government

We're partnering with a large Queensland Government organisation to find an experienced HR/ER Advisor to join their team on a initial 6 month contract.
Based in the Brisbane CBD (hybrid working available), this role sits at the coalface of employee relations, providing sound advice and case management on workplace matters including grievances, misconduct investigations, performance management and consultative processes. You'll work closely with senior leaders to navigate complex ER issues while supporting broader HR/people initiatives.

What you'll bring:
  • Strong employee/industrial relations experience, ideally within a government or large, complex organisation
  • Sound judgement and the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion
  • Experience with case management, workplace investigations and interpretation of awards/agreements
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and advisory skills
