  • Manage environmental monitoring, microbiological testing and product quality checks
  • Investigate and report on customer complaints, product quality issues and NCRs
  • Manage supplier non-conformances and raw material compliance
  • Oversee product release, COA requirements and supplier specifications
  • Support NPD, private label production and implementation of new QA requirements
  • Deliver food safety, hygiene and QA training across the site
  • Work closely with Production and Operations to embed quality processes and drive improvements
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and external auditors
  • Lead and develop the site QA team
About You:
You’ll be a Food Technology, Food Science or similar qualified professional with 3+ years’ QA experience in food manufacturing, ideally within a high-care, high-risk, fresh, dairy or RTE environment.

You’ll Bring:
  • Strong practical knowledge of HACCP and food safety systems
  • Experience in a High Care / RTE Food environment (vastly preferable)
  • Experience with BRC and internal auditing
  • Experience across both QA and QC processes and practices
  • A strong understanding of GMP, microbiological testing and environmental monitoring
  • The ability to work effectively with Production, Operations, Warehouse and other teams across the site
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A hands-on, practical approach and the ability to influence people at all levels
  • The confidence to identify issues, drive corrective actions and make decisions around food safety and quality
is a great opportunity for a QA professional looking to take greater ownership of a site’s food safety and quality function, while working closely with a broader national quality team and continuing to develop their career.
