Six Degrees is excited to be partnering with a leading Australian-owned fresh produce business on a 6-month Marketing Specialist contract, based at their Brisbane head office.

The business grows, packs and markets premium fruit across several states. It has a portfolio of branded and new varietal products heading into important seasonal launches. The category and brand strategies are in place. This role will turn them into launches, packaging and in-store activity that arrive on time.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial & Strategy, you’ll keep the marketing program on track, working closely with Sales, Technical, Supply Chain, agencies and suppliers.

What you’ll be doing
  • Building and managing a consolidated six-month marketing plan, calendar and budget
  • Coordinating packaging concepts, artwork, labels and print through to production
  • Supporting brand positioning, messaging and new varietal launches
  • Delivering retailer activations, including promotions, displays, tastings and POS
  • Managing launch content, photography, social activity and trade communications
  • Tracking spend and results, and reporting on progress, risks and decisions required
About you
  • Experience in brand, trade, shopper or category marketing within FMCG, food, grocery or fresh produce
  • Hands-on packaging and artwork experience from brief through to print
  • A track record of working with major retailers and Sales teams on in-store activity
  • Confidence managing agencies and suppliers on briefs, approvals, budgets and deadlines
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail across several projects at once
Fresh produce experience is highly regarded. Experience from packaged food, beverages or other grocery categories will also transfer well.
