CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
About the job
We’re seeking a passionate communicator to lead and drive our Corporate Communications. As the Corporate Communications Manager you will be accountable for internal and external communications, ensuring it is engaging, consistent, and reflective of the Company's values and business objectives. This extends to the external branding and positioning of the company, including media releases, LinkedIn, partnerships, and key events. You will be working closely with the CMO and CPO with a focus on internal and external communication.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
• Deliver the internal communications strategy, and refine where necessary, to ensure an engaged and informed workforce
• Contribute to bringing our corporate branding strategy to life, driving consistency across channels and audiences
• Drive the ongoing development of appropriate and current content in collaboration with the business through leading edge communication channels, including, the intranet, website and other employee communication channels. • Developing external media network and creating press releases.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the senior leadership team as well as the human resources and marketing teams.
• Lead and manage the annual employee survey, and work with business leaders and human resources on action plans
The role is based at Homebush, with free on-site parking and easy access to public transport. This is a hybrid role which will see you working three days in the office and two days from home.
What do I need for the role?
The successful candidate should have tertiary qualifications in communications or related fields, and preferable come from a corporate skewed, or agency background.
In addition to this it is preferable for the candidate to be:
• Technically skilled in social/digital media, with outstanding writing/ editorial/digital content skills with an eye for detail.
• Writer and narrator of Company Narrative.
• Project Management Experience.
• Crisis Comms/Risk Management experience.
• Deep experience in stakeholder understanding and management, including media relations experience/capability.
• Analytical skills - able to provide strategic insight, advice and clarity based on sound business knowledge.
• Experienced networker and influencer through all comms channels by being dynamic, energetic, inclusive and flexible.
