Procurement Manager

Our client is an iconic FMCG business whose products are household staples in Australia and New Zealand, and with a growing presence in international markets too. One of their strategic pillars is making a step change in their procurement function to become a more collaborative and integrated business partner delivering better goods and services from their suppliers.
The role
Reporting to the Procurement Director, the Procurement Manager will take on a high profile portfolio of indirect spend, and have accountability for the category strategy and working with stakeholders on a diverse range of tactical and strategic projects. The role will work closely with the procurement team to improve the procurement process using category strategies, sourcing execution and effective management of suppliers to deliver competitive advantage and maximise value throughout the business.
Candidate profile
Procurement Specialist or Procurement Category Manager with experience in managing a diverse portfolio of indirect spend preferably within FMCG. You will be able to demonstrate your skillsets and expertise in building strong working partnerships internally and externally, and implementing successful category strategies to achieve OPEX and CAPEX targets. You will consider yourself to have a good level of commercial acumen, a continuous improvement mindset and effective networker, thriving in an autonomous, dynamic and fast paced role.
