This is complex role that works across ground water, landfill, and air emission monitoring where you will be a member of a supportive team that works on a broad range of environmental improvement projects.
About the Role
As the Environment Coordinator, you will support on advice, guidance in the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of environmental management at the site. You will be in a team of environmental specialists, whilst maintaining collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Success in this role will mean the site maintains excellent relationships with the community and external bodies, and goes above and beyond with progressive environmental performance. You’ll drive positive outcomes on trade waste, energy efficiency and emissions. You will empower your team to achieve, whilst acting as a subject matter expert to the leadership team.
You will support on environmental audits and assessments, identify and resolving environmental problems, providing technical support to help resolve resolving environmental problems and acting as an agent of change.

Skills & Experience
This is an exciting and integral role within the business for future growth. Reporting to the Environmental Manager, you will ideally have:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Environmental Science or Environmental Management
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in an environmental role
- Ideally some experience working within the manufacturing industry
- The ability to work well in a team and strong communication skills
- Effective influencing skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of people and achieve behavioural change
- A continuous improvement focus
