Our client & Opportunity:
Six Degrees Executive has partnered with an Australian building subcontractor based locally in Brisbane. With multiple locations in Australia and potential for career development, our client is seeking an experienced draftsperson to execute on bespoke commercial projects.


Role responsibilities:
  • Prepare structural designs in accordance with the relevant Authority or Australian Standards, using recognised design principles and methods
  • Resolve conflicts of documentation, proactively managing the project RFI register.
  • Find opportunities within processes to simplify and streamline the build..
  • Manage project SOW and variation register with Project Managers


About you:
  • Proven technical drawing experience in the commercial/civil construction industry.
  • Able to read, interpret and understand complex drawings and how buildings and structures are built; with an ability to trouble shoot building challenges
  • Excellent capability with Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Microsoft suite of products
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team and autonomously
  • The ability to quickly build trust and respect from our client’s and within our team.
