Our Client
This global leader in food production has an opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join their procurement team. The role is based in Bathurst, NSW.
 
You will be responsible for direct and indirect sourcing with a view to working on some global projects, including sustainability in the future.
Responsibilities for the role:
  • Planning and placing orders for raw materials
  • Negotiate with suppliers and create a supplier relationship program and reduce the number of suppliers
  • Ensure the supply of raw materials have been planned, managed and delivered to meet manufacturing requirements
  • Plan, manage and expedite delivery of raw material
  • Manage stock levels and inventory management
 
About you
You will be an experienced Procurement or Purchasing Officer / Specialist who has experience with direct procurement.
