Role Overview:  
Reporting into the Head of Digital, the UX/UI Designer will work hand in glove with Product Owners from solution validation through to delivery, with some input to problem discovery.   
 
Projects and Remit: 
  • Collaborate closely with a cross functional team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineers and other experts across the business to deliver world-class products and features for our customers 
  • Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research to validate hypotheses, uncover user pains, needs and motivations 
  • Design and facilitate workshops for alignment, ideation and iteration, for small and large groups, remotely and in person 
  • Create simple, innovative and intuitive solutions to complex scenarios 
  • Produce sketches, flowcharts, wireframes and prototypes for testing, validation and to support robust discussions with your team to create alignment. 
  • Design and conduct moderated and unmoderated usability testing 
  • Leverage the design system to create high fidelity designs, facilitate walkthroughs with developers and support all the way through to delivery 
Ideal Candidate:   
  • 3 - 5 experience in UX/UI/Product Design 
  • Strong working knowledge of design thinking & human-centered design principles 
  • Confidence in planning, designing and facilitating remote, in-person moderated and guerrilla user 
  • Strong prototyping skills 
  • Portfolio of work that demonstrates ability in UX/UI/Product Design  
  • Strong facilitation techniques 
  • Solid communication skills in a fast-paced environment 
  • Growth mindset and ability to deal with ambiguity
