With a shared passion for developing solar and wind farms, they are seeking to recruit their next key executive to their Operations Leadership team.
About the Role
The purpose of the Asset Manager is to manage the portfolio of generation and storage assets to ensure safety, security, compliance and maintenance in support of optimal performance, availability and asset life.
Skills and Experience
Reporting through to the COO, you will hold tertiary qualifications in renewable energy, electrical and/or mechanical engineering, and ideally some post graduate studies in asset management. You will have solid experience in maximising asset performance in either the energy sector or large industrial plants or utilities/transport, with the ability to develop and implement a 3-5 maintenance strategy and actively handle contract management across all operational sites. You need to be both strategic and tactical, with excellent problem-solving skills, have an inquisitive mind set and the ability to come up with practical solutions. This is a great role for someone who likes stakeholder management, is a natural influencer and wants to be part of a values driven organization.
