A communications expert (MUST HAVE: PR or media background) to join our growing Brisbane team as an Account Manager working alongside the national consumer teams in Sydney and Melbourne.

General description
A communications expert (MUST HAVE: PR or media background) to join our growing Brisbane team as an Account Manager working alongside the national consumer teams in Sydney and Melbourne.
You’ll play a key role in working with the team to deliver outstanding communications campaigns for our clients and you’ll have the opportunity to support exciting new business opportunities in the Brisbane market.
Key duties
- Working on campaigns and projects (for retainer and project clients) including pitching, copywriting, influencer and ambassador liaison, attending video and photo shoots, organising and attending media calls/events as required.
- Team management including supporting to manage workflow with the team, ensuring timelines are being followed and deadlines are met, participating in internal brainstorms, sharing your knowledge and experience with junior team members
- Client management includes contributing to client WIPs, ensuring monthly/quarterly/campaign KPIs are on track, support on new briefs and responses, utilising media/influencer knowledge and relationships to deliver client results, ad hoc client calls as and when required.
- Administrative tasks including timesheets, working with account leads and finance for campaign specific POs and invoicing.
Desired skills and experience
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (agency experience preferred).
- You have exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- You have experience working in and mentoring a small team, setting clear tasks and timelines and providing prompt and effective feedback.
- You can juggle multiple campaigns/clients at once with sharp time management skills.
- You have experience working on integrated campaigns for clients.
- You’re proficient in developing a range of communication assets for a range of mediums and verticals with exceptional writing and editing skills.
- You’re an avid consumer of media who has their finger on the pulse of news, current affairs and pop culture and strong relationships across the Queensland and Australian media/influencer landscape.
- You have the ability to work independently and also collaboratively within a team.
- You’re familiar with the influencer landscape and have worked on influencer campaigns spanning varying phases including research, identification, briefing and reporting.
- You have a track record of establishing client relationships as well as with media, influencers and suppliers.

The finer details
- Full-time (five days), based out of our Brisbane CBD office
- Mondays and Wednesdays in the office, the rest of the time is up to you
