About the Role
This is a pivotal role for the team, as it ensures that quality systems and processes are implemented so all quality and food safety objectives can be met, and that consumers needs are recognised and monitored. There will be a strong focus on initiating non-conformance reports and participating in root cause analysis to ensure preventative measures are put in place. It is expected that this person will drive compliance to meet regulatory standards, and have a passion for process improvements, system enhancements and know “what good looks like”.
Skills and Experience
It is critical this person has superior problem-solving skills, and the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders both internally and externally. As the voice of quality, you will drive key relationships with the innovation and sales teams, work closely with a broad range of suppliers, and understand supply chain from end to end. If you enjoy projects, there will be the opportunity to drive process improvements with system enhancements and new platforms. Ideally you will have a degree in Food Science or a related field, qualifications in auditing, and a proven track record in food manufacturing with a sound understanding of GMP, HACCP and GFSI standards. Superior technology skills would be highly regarded.
