Our client & Opportunity:
Six Degrees Executive has partnered with an International Agri-business, with multiple locations across the Australian Eastern Seaboard. Present this opportunity for a high impact Project Manager; to join the team in leading a transition to a new site along with maintenance improvements. This role will suit well for someone with a strongly demonstrated understanding of project management principles and a keen interest in Maintenance Management, Management of Site Operations, Administration, and Collaboration & Relationships.


Role responsibilities:
  • CAPEX Improvement projects - On the customer side, drive and manage project delivery to be on time, in full, within budget through liaising with suppliers and management on clear project requirements and objectives
  • Develop and implement a SAP maintenance module and preventative maintenance initiatives for the operations group in cooperation with site maintenance coordinators. Develop reports of routine equipment availability, maintenance requirements and pre-planning.
  • Manage onsite work with contracts as an ambassador for WHSE to ensure all site procedures are met and budgets are followed with appropriate document control
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.
  • Manage capital improvement proposals and justifications when requested by the operations management team and sanctioned by the Operations Leadership Team.


About you:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business - Project Management
  • A natural leader of Project Management with 5 to 10 years in complex project management roles within a operations/ manufacturing/ construction industry
  • Strong ability with effective engagement with stakeholders internally and externally through well developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities across managing site operations, maintenance management processes, project execution, and WHSE drives
