Our client & Opportunity:

This company is an Australian-owned storage terminal provider with key locations across Australia and New Zealand. With a Melbourne head office, this role will be focused on the day-to-day operations of the Queensland and Western Australia terminal maintenance and project execution. This role is well suited for an engineering manager experienced in the petroleum industry looking to work locally! With a strong pipeline of projects and facility upgrades, this is the perfect time to become a part of the growing team on a 24/7 site!


Role responsibilities:
  • Be the key leader for all maintenance focus and minor project activity on all things engineering, hitting at site level for QLD and WA. 
  • With a high level of engineering expertise in all areas of plant maintenance, capital expenditure and expansion of the business, ensure relevant safety objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with National Engineering, Asset and Maintenance Manager, and terminal Operation Managers/Supervisors in the preparation of the Capital and Maintenance Budgets.
  • Adhear to all documentation requirements to record all non-conformances, incidents, improvements and issues and ensure that all items are addressed within the defined time frame.


About you:
  • An experienced 10 year tenure engineer with exposure to petrochemcial, oil industry or storage terminals. 
  • Tertiary qualified Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or similar preferred)
  • Proven knowledge of applicable Australia and Industry Standards and Project Management experience with an understanding of the requirements of a major hazard facilities.
