The opportunity
We are seeking a Retail eCommerce Manager who will have the responsibility for the strategy, performance, products, and analysis of the organisations online national retail / eCommerce store.  You will drive increased sales and profitability, identify growth opportunities, improve cost efficiencies, and deliver best practice digital marketing and eCommerce approaches to the growth area.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee implementation of the strategy and business plan for organisations ecommerce growth across Australia
  • Lead, manage and support the ecommerce team
  • Develop a new distribution agreement and push to 3PL
  • Support upgrade to Shopify Advance
  • Develop 'Winter Buy' scheme
  • Encourage business development and identify new opportunities
  • Perform regular updates to the website
  • Oversee budgets, forecasting and reporting to ensure all financials are accurate 
  • Use insights and data to identify new product lines and categories to drive growth
 
Profiles & Experience
  • Relevant experience in an ecommerce leadership role
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Strong business development experience
  • Some understanding of UX/UI principles
  • Knowledge of marketing practices
  • Good analytical and reporting skills
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Subject matter expert across Online space
