The opportunity:
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for design to join the team as mid-senior level Front-End Developer. You will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements while optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency.
Working alongside the native and back-end developers, and closely with our product designer, your duties will include turning mock-ups into reusable code and building high-quality UI components with scalability in mind.
Role responsibilities:
  • Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
  • Determining the structure and design of web pages.
  • Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
  • Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
  • Building reusable code for future use and take ownership of the front end code base
  • Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
  • Developing features to enhance the user experience.
 
About you:
  • Degree in computer science (or related field) with 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Strong experience with JavaScript (essential) HTML 5, CSS. React experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of SEO principles.
  • Understanding of key design principles.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the health/nutrition and fitness industries is beneficial
